Call for Participants: Guidance Path Research Study for People with Sight Loss

In partnership with Moorfields and UCL Centre for Eye Health, UCL PEARL is conducting research to define the specification for a tactile/visual route indicator to help guide people from St Pancras International station to the new centre. The new centre will be opening to patients in summer 202

We are recruiting people over the age of 18 who either have:

·        Peripheral vision loss and use a long cane 

·        A medical retinal condition and use a long cane  

·        Cataract 

The study will be on the 7^th and 8^th of October 2026 at UCL PEARL, and participants will be compensated £50 per day. The study is expected to require approximately 2 hours per day over two days.
